More Bitcoin Slang Words You Need to Know

Bullish - Expecting the price will increase


Bearish - Expecting the price will decrease


Stacking Sats - Accumulating small amounts of Bitcoin over time, aiming to build a significant holding.


ATH - (Meaning: All Time High) Refers to the highest price that an asset has ever reached in its history.


Rekt - Means ‘wrecked’ or ‘destroyed’ and is used to describe significant losses in the financial market.



Bitcoin Maxi - Someone who believes Bitcoin is the only valuable cryptocurrency and all others are irrelevant.


DCA - (Meaning: Dollar Cost Averaging) A gradual investment strategy, like buying small amounts of Bitcoin regularly.


Fiat - regular money like Dollars and Euros.  It is government-issued currency that is not backed by a physical commodity, such as gold. 


BTD -  (Meaning: Buy the  Dip) Refers to the practice of buying an asset when its price falls, with the belief that it will eventually climb back up in value.


Paper Hands - The opposite of ‘Diamond Hands’.  Someone who panics and sells their Bitcoin at a loss due to FUD.
